Food safety disclaimer

MeatLogic provides general cooking information. It is not a food safety certification, an inspection service, or professional advice. Cooking times are estimates and the calculators cannot know your pit, your weather, or your particular cut of meat.

Always verify doneness with a calibrated probe thermometer and observe the USDA safe minimum internal temperatures published on the meat temperature chart. Curing salts are toxic in excess and must be measured by weight on an accurate scale. You are responsible for the food you serve.

What we collect

Nothing you type into a calculator leaves your browser. There is no account, no upload, and no server-side record of your inputs. Unit preferences are stored locally in your own browser and are never sent anywhere.

The site uses Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which are cookieless and collect aggregate page performance data, and Google Analytics 4 for traffic measurement, which does set cookies. None of them has access to what you enter into the tools, because those values never leave your browser.
